This site is dedicated to the marvelous ladies & gentlemen of Torrevieja Hospital, Alicante, Spain. Who cared for me after getting deep vein thrombosis with the potentially fatal complication of pulmonary thromboebolism (blood clot in the leg some of which travelled to an artery in the lung).

Also to all my friends, neighbours and family, who have been a big support in these dificult times.

I will try to relate my story as accurately as I can. For the purposes of anonimity, no names will be mentioned (also ‘cos I don’t know half the people’s names anyway!).
